Department
administers 22 regulatory boards for more than 75 professions
and occupations. License Look-up provides licensing status for
business professionals, including architects, designers of engineering
systems, engineers-in-training, land surveyors, landscape architects
and professional engineers, and business entities, including architectural
and engineering firms. Listings can be searched by credential
type, number and name. Can check application status. Provides
profession descriptions, credentialing criteria, determination
process overview, comity information, fees and renewal requirements
for each regulated profession. Includes fee schedules; links to
statutes and Administrative Code by profession; consumer complaint
form; search engine for disciplinary action decisions since 1998;
monthly reports of decisions indexed by profession and respondent;
biannual reports for each profession, which include disciplinary
actions; regulatory digests; and order information for publication
listing credential holders.

The division licenses, certifies and regulates 51 categories of
professions and occupations, including blasters, boiler repairers,
dwelling contractors, electrical contractors, electricians, automatic
fire sprinkler contractors and fitters, HVAC contractors, plumbers,
pipelayers, tank system professionals, refrigerant technicians, Uniform Dwelling Code inspectors
and welders. Lists credentialed individuals and businesses by
category; provides exam dates; credentialing requirements; credentialing
applications; plan review, notice and other forms, including Wisconsin
Uniform Building Permit Application; checklists; compliance statements;
and worksheets. Lists electrical and plumbing continuing education
courses; provides plumbing, licensing and technical information
